We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Waitress/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service, ensure guest satisfaction, and contribute to a positive dining experience. At 228 Cocina, we take pride in delivering authentic flavors and unforgettable service. As a Waitress/Server, you’ll have the opportunity to bring our vision of San Diego style Mexican cuisine to life on The Gulf Coast and be part of a growing, passionate team that values creativity and excellence. Requirements
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously
- Present menus and explain specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Enter orders into POS system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist team members as needed during busy periods
