About The Position

Unidine is hiring immediately for part time WAITER/WAITRESS positions at The Glenn Minnetonka located at 5300 Woodhill Road, Minnetonka, MN 55345. This position offers a part time schedule with evening shifts. Hours and days may vary, with further details provided during the interview. No experience is required as training will be provided. The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room.
• Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests from guests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
• Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested.
• Accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others.
• Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
• Ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period.
• Keep the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
