We have an amazing opportunity for a Eastmont - Wait Staff (Part-Time) to join our team! Required Education & Experience Must be at least age 16. Essential functions & responsibilities Serves food and beverages with a pleasant demeanor, restaurant style to residents in the dining room. Accomplishes other duties to include, but not limited to: clean, bus tables, reset tables and complete required assigned daily cleaning tasks. Complies with all federal and state health regulations and current food code requirements. Ensures foods are maintained at proper temperatures. May assist with training new staff and/or cross training current staff. Communicates any problems or concerns with the Director. Participates in personal and professional growth by attending mandatory in-services, scheduled department meetings and any other required training on or off campus. Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures at Eastmont as set forth in departmental policies and the Employee Handbook. Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least age 16.
Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write, take menu orders, and speak English well enough to communicate effectively with residents, family members and peers.
Desire to work with senior adults and their families.
Good organizational skills.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and want to work in a team environment.
Must be able to relate to other people by giving and receiving instructions: (a) can get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; (b) perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and (c) respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
Be honest, dependable and reliable.
Be able to pass a Food Prep Safe Course provided by Eastmont Towers.
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, grasp and talk.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities
