About The Position

PRIVATE COUNTRY CLUB SERVER OPPORTUNITY AT SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB Suntree Country Club seeks a positive, energetic, and professional server. The candidate must possess excellent Customer/Member service, embody and demonstrate a confident engagement style that promotes a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest Member satisfaction levels. SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB Established in 1975, Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club built exclusively for the enjoyment, relaxation, and fellowship of its members, their families, and guests. The beautifully landscaped estate offers 36 holes of championship golf and a state-of-the-art short-game practice facility. Members enjoy a 13-court racquet complex that includes pickleball and a beautiful pool with a poolside bar. Food service is handled through 2 large, multi-function clubhouses, multiple kitchens, bars, private meeting rooms, and exercise facilities.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and understand the directions of management.
  • Must be able to work rapidly during rush periods.
  • Able to work with co-workers as a team.
  • 6+months prior Professional Server Experience.

  • Food Safety regulations and practices
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment of 40lbs or more.
  • Be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach overhead, pull & push and or lift a tray of 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Provides immediate friendly, positive, and attentive attention to all Members/Guests upon seating.
  • Must be willing to learn and remember Member's names.
  • Detail orientated in taking food & beverage orders for Members/Guests.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of Member Service.
  • Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock.
  • Deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving all Members issues promptly.
  • Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events.
  • Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining chef's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
  • Service of orders in a timely, efficient manner per standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Remains readily accessible and attentive to Members and guests at all times
  • Maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness
  • Bus tables as needed
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting Members/Guests to return.
  • Ensures Members/Guests are charged correctly.
  • Keeps inventory of dining room items. Notifies management when items need to be replenished.
