About The Position

Serves guests in a prompt and courteous fashion.

Requirements

• Must be friendly, courteous and prompt.
• Must be able to speak openly to guests in a friendly and respectful fashion.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Subject to internal working conditions including a smoking environment.
• High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED).
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass a criminal background check, and submit to drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Services our guests with beverages in a prompt and courteous fashion.
• Supports good guest service throughout casino floor.
• Assures service carts are cleaned, free of any soda, coffee, or residue including the wheels.
• Assures beverage room is cleaned thoroughly including inside cupboards and shelves, getting rid of cardboard debris and garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, and washing walls.
• Restocks all condiments including cream, sugar, stir sticks, coffee cups, and soda cups.
• Assures all containers are clearly marked at all times.
• Wipes down all dispensers, containers, sinks, and countertops on every shift.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
