About The Position

Our upscale casual restaurants provide the perfect setting for guests to unwind after a round of golf, celebrate a special occasion, or enjoy a productive day on campus. We pride ourselves on delivering a warm, polished, and memorable dining experience — and we’re looking for an efficient, attentive, and detail-oriented Wait Assistant to help us bring that standard to life. The Wait Assistant plays a key support role in ensuring seamless service, impeccable table presentation, and an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various tasks as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support servers in meeting and anticipating guest needs throughout the dining experience
  • Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure the dining room is fully prepared and properly reset
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and service areas
  • Stock and restock server stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift
  • Take direction from servers, hosts/hostesses, and managers to ensure smooth service flow
  • Remove extra place settings, clear soiled items promptly, and reset tables with precision and care
  • Communicate guest feedback, concerns, or service issues to the Manager in a timely and professional manner
