In this position... The Wage Administration and Labor Relations Specialist role is responsible for ensuring pay accuracy and conducting analytical data analysis related to hourly compensation. This role involves developing tools and resources to support stakeholders in achieving accurate pay. This position demands strong attention to detail, analytical skills, executing project plans, collaborating with various stakeholders, and implementing processes and training materials. What you'll do... Position Management & Wage Analyst : Responsible for creation and maintenance of all hourly positions including management of wage classifications and wage schedules. Wage Administration Pay Audits: Ensure high levels of data integrity by executing systematic audits of position elements, including employee type codes, service dates, and other critical position elements to ensure accuracy and compliance. COLA Administration and Oversight: Manage the administration of Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA), ensuring all rate changes are accurately calculated and implemented in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Wage Administration Cycle Plan: Manage the annual wage administration cycle plan including preparation and execution of recurring pay related instructions and guidelines. Pay Support: Serve as a key point of contact for wage administration support, providing expert guidance and escalation support to plant locations and stakeholders. Key areas of focus include: Overtime and AWS pay rules, back up pay, shift/crew premiums, paid time off, and holiday pay. Actively participate in GEMBA to identify root cause of pay discrepancies and implement solutions and training. Advanced Data Analytics: Extract and analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Requires robust analytical skills that provide actionable insights into business performance. Data Storytelling: Synthesize complex findings into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives. Presentations: Design and deliver presentations. Clear communication is tailored to various audiences, ensuring that data-driven recommendations are understood. Visualization Design: Create visually intuitive charts, graphs, and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPI’s) and simplify complex data structures. Continuous Improvement: Lead objectives and deliverables for continuous improvement projects. This includes using LEAN tools to help deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify preventive measures to improve pay accuracy. Labor CoE and Negotiations Support: Provide support to the Labor CoE in negotiations and other special projects as required. You'll have... This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
