About The Position
The Trucking/Delivery Route Administrator, also known as a Transportation Analyst, plays a crucial role in optimizing the delivery operations of our fleet in Seattle. This position involves a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of local and regional trucking routes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in transportation and route optimization software to ensure that delivery schedules and route pathways are optimized for a fleet of delivery vehicles. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our delivery services, ensuring that goods are delivered to customers in a timely and accurate manner. In this position, the individual will be responsible for utilizing various software tools, including Greenmile, Geotab, and Samsara, to track fleet movements and monitor delivery schedules. The role requires collaboration with the trucking team to ensure that all deliveries are executed smoothly and efficiently. The administrator will maintain accurate records of delivery schedules and vehicle usage, monitor fuel consumption, and suggest strategies to reduce costs. Regular reporting and analysis of trucking and delivery performance will be a key aspect of the job, as will the identification and resolution of any issues or delays in the delivery process.
