Analyze freight daily to ensure correct classifications and weights have been given by our customers ensuring fairness and honesty with every inspection. Encourage the reweigh program to employees and provide exceptional service to customers. Primary Responsibilities Process information through our AS400/SAP system database such as freight measurement and be able to use other software/programs to monitor freight Responsible for all correspondence (both written and verbal), related to the administration of the local Weight and Research program Measure, reweigh, and verify classifications of freight to ensure correct billing takes place Increase revenue for the company and maintain a certain percentage of freight inspected at the service center Verification and application of correct NMFC classes and freight charges Maintain a positive image and ensure OD maintains a quality reputation Monitor emails throughout the day and follow up with customer or employees Make sure employees are aware of the reweigh program and motivate them to meet our goals Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of service center operations Comprehends and ensures compliance with company and government regulations Ability to work any shift which will be determine by business needs
