About The Position

The position involves the setup and operation of computer numeric controlled (CNC) machining and inspection processes. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to quality standards, ensuring that all products are handled properly and efficiently to maintain traceability. The individual will be responsible for monitoring equipment, recording data, and performing basic troubleshooting to address any operational anomalies. Preventive maintenance is also a key aspect of the job, along with maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Continuous improvement is encouraged, and the individual will be expected to train co-workers in equipment operations and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining and inspection equipment.
• Deburr and inspect products in the W&B facility.
• Handle materials efficiently to ensure product traceability.
• Monitor equipment and record data to document processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment anomalies related to operation, productivity, and quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Adhere to housekeeping and safety requirements in manufacturing areas.
• Submit and support continuous improvement ideas for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Follow procedures from safety, quality, process engineering, and facilities engineering.
• Train co-workers in proper equipment operations and maintenance procedures.
