The 9-week internship program begins the first week of June and ends the first week of August. What you’ll do: VyStar’s paid internship experience will work with the Asset Liability Management (“ALM”) team and support critical functions within Finance. The following are expectations of the role:

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university
  • Rising College Juniors, Seniors, Graduate Students, or Thrive Scholars
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work with multi-disciplined teams
  • Strong use of Microsoft Office Tools
  • Participation in college organizations and the community
  • Strong writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop practical skills in data analysis and financial modeling through on-the-job training and mentorship.
  • Receive comprehensive training in Asset Liability Management (ALM) modeling, gaining insight into how financial institutions manage risk and optimize performance.
  • Learn the end-to-end production workflow by shadowing team members and interviewing subject matter experts to understand processes and best practices.
  • Lead a key project to create brand-new departmental procedures, documenting policies, workflows, and regulatory reporting standards to enhance efficiency and compliance.
