As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor Trainee to join our service team. This is an entry-level, career-path position designed for individuals who want to build a long-term future in automotive service. Our goal is to develop you into a fully trained Service Advisor within one year through hands-on training, mentorship, and brand-specific education. The Service Advisor Trainee supports the service department while learning the responsibilities of a full Service Advisor. You will work closely with experienced advisors, service managers, and technicians to develop the skills needed to deliver a premium service experience to VW and Audi customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service or hospitality background preferred (automotive experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, coachable attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership software.
  • Interest in building a long-term career in automotive service.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in greeting customers, gathering vehicle information, and understanding service needs.
  • Shadow and support senior Service Advisors to learn customer communication, service write-ups, and workflow management.
  • Help schedule service appointments, coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient service flow and moving vehicles.
  • Learn how to prepare service estimates and explain recommended maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records and notes in the dealership’s service software.
  • Learn VW and Audi maintenance requirements, service standards, and luxury customer expectations.
  • Actively participate in training with the goal of becoming a fully independent Service Advisor within one year.
