Agile Defense is currently seeking a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Team Lead Analysts to support an Agency-level SOC program. The position will lead the analysts that will conduct enterprise-level security assessments and penetration testing. To support this vital mission, Agile Defense staff are at the forefront of providing Advanced CND Operations, and Systems Engineering support to include the development of advanced analytics and countermeasures to protect critical assets from hostile adversaries. To ensure the integrity, security, and resiliency of critical operations, we are seeking candidates with diverse backgrounds in cyber security systems operations, penetration testing, continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing. Candidates must have leadership experience, strong written and verbal communications skills, researching and analysis skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of operating systems, application vulnerabilities, with hands-on experience conducting enterprise-level vulnerability scans and network penetration testing.

Requirements

  • CISM or CISSP
  • Bachelor’s Degree computer science, engineering, cybersecurity or STEM.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience performing vulnerability assessments for an enterprise network, this includes endpoints, network devices, IOT devices, web applications, databases or wireless access points.
  • Analyzing vulnerabilities and providing assessments and remediation instructions; knowledgeable to maintain a repository of VA application issues and report application issues to USG Government customers.
  • Experience with applying Information Systems Security principles and methods.
  • Experience with Application Security implementation; understanding of Firewall Management and Advanced Threat Protection; familiarity with Access Control, Authorization, Intrusion Prevention and Intrusion Detection.
  • Familiar with FISMA compliance and Risk Management Framework.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more certifications for VAT Analysts: GPEN, GWAPT, GSNA, GAWN, GWEB, GXPN, CEH, OSCP, OSEE, OSCE, OSWP.
  • Leadership experience of a technical team.

Responsibilities

  • The Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Lead will direct enterprise vulnerability assessment planning, scanning, analysis, and remediation coordination to minimize organizational risk and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Plan, schedule and execute enterprise vulnerability assessment (VA) cycles; monitor remediation plans and enforce deadlines.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of VA findings and generate detailed reports for the USG customers.
  • Incorporate application security, firewall/ATP configurations, and access control requirements into VA activities.
  • Utilize customer provide capabilities to perform vulnerability, audit of endpoints or network devices and wireless access points.
  • Perform packet capture or protocol analysis and validate the network transmission of sensitive information in accordance with security standards.
