About The Position

We are seeking a VSO & Agency Outreach Manager to join our Easterseals NH Military and Veterans Campus team! The individual in this key position will develop, establish and support growth of collaborative relationships with Veteran Services Organizations (VSO) as well as other community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, and individuals to expand program services provided on the ESNH Military and Veteran Campus. Responsibilities include: Under the direction of the department leadership, establish, visit, and maintain a regional network of relationships with veteran services organizations, as well as other community organizations, businesses, and educational institutions as appropriate. Recruit, retain, and develop relationships with mission-critical Veteran Services Organizations (i.e. Delta Dog, equine programming, etc.) to facilitate the provision of comprehensive and collaborative services on the ESNH Military and Veteran Campus. Establish, promote, and coordinate regularly scheduled dates/times for the provision of services by Veterans Service Organizations and other community organizations on the ESNH Military and Veteran Campus. Coordinate the campus activities calendar in collaboration with the Retreat Center General Manager. Develop and implement creative and innovative outreach plans & referral sourcing strategies to increase access to services on the ESNH Military and Veteran Campus, including but not limited to; networking, community events, and fairs, as well as arranging transportation for groups of people who may have barriers to access. Develop and maintain comprehensive mapping of Veteran Service Organizations, create a clear path & understanding of a continuum of care, and maintain a dynamic directory of partner providers. Cultivate and drive teambuilding efforts amongst Veteran Service Organizations, military organizations, and other agencies. Work with clients and providers to ensure that clients receive collaborative and holistic care plans at the ESNH Military and Veteran Campus. In addition, ensure housing residents and temporary-stay military residents receive appropriate services through Veteran Service Organizations, Easterseals Veterans Count, or other organizations. Act as the primary point of contact and presence with community partners and contacts. Use best practices, conduct research, and consult with internal staff to identify new and existing community partners. Partner with department leadership and program reporting professionals to measure success of outreach efforts. Actively maintain reporting mechanisms, database/tracking, and other key indicators. Assist Veteran Service Organizations and other organizations in educating the military and veteran community, as well as their families, about services available on the campus through social media efforts, etc. Represent the agency at business and community events, conferences, meetings, and committees as directed to promote visibility in the community. Participate in and attend meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, business/marketing, or related
  • Two (2) years’ experience as a community liaison or experience in developing, managing, and/or facilitating direct referral relationships
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel to attend meetings and functions throughout the State of New Hampshire
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Computer proficiency, organizational skills, and excellent oral and written presentation
  • Must operate as independent contributor
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
