About The Position

The VRT operator job description involves overseeing the influx of product being stored in the VRT. The operator will monitor the product going into the VRT using the different computer screens available for use. It is essential to stay in constant communication with the maintenance department to ensure smooth operations. The operator is also responsible for dislodging any boxes that are within reach to avoid jam ups both inside and outside the VRT. Additionally, the operator must forward all pertinent information on the daily operation of the VRT to the second shift operator and higher management.
