What You’ll Do At FourLeaf, the FVP Value Realization Office (VRO) is a senior leadership position responsible for our various delivery governance models (agile, waterfall, kanban, etc). Be on the ground floor of our Transformation journey and help guide how we govern and deliver value for the enterprise of our Projects & Products. This role is responsible for various methods and practices working on the priorities of the business to deliver value and provision capabilities as well as improving the overall Agile and PPM maturity. This dual function role has the responsibility to integrate delivery of the organization’s portfolio of projects, products, and structured work efforts ensuring all are manageable, consistent and aligned toward progressive achievement of overarching goals. This role will develop and support a learning model through mentorship and coaching, enabling training and continuous improvement throughout. The Value Realization Office embodies and enables an agile culture. As the VP – Value Realization Office, organizational adherence to our Delivery Governance Framework(s), which the VRO is responsible for defining and continuously improving, is a key priority. In addition, this position is responsible for the VRO operating model which includes performance reporting and tracking. The overall strategy of the VRO, ensuring the alignment and execution of corporate goals and strategy, along with expected iterative improvements are key responsibilities. As a member of a tri-party Consortium, the head of the VRO is the primary POC, on behalf of FourLeaf, for project and resource reporting and coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree.
  • Field of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • 10+ Years of experience in combined (waterfall and agile) environments along with applicable certifications.
  • Certifications: Project Management Institute Certification (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, etc) / Scrum Alliance Certification (CSP, CSM, CSPO, etc) / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe, etc).

Responsibilities

  • VRO Maturity and Growth Facilitate VRO stakeholders and organizational leadership consensus around the mission and vision of the VRO organization to foster an agile oriented mindset while building product and project-oriented capabilities aligned to value delivery.
  • Engage senior leadership and business partners to define the PMO goals and operating model in the form of the VRO charter or mission statement.
  • VRO Governance Lead the definition and execution of project management governance processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery.
  • Develop and guide the agile practice, putting in place the systems, processes and ways of working to sustain high performing teams.
  • Define, manage and direct the needed end-to-end VRO work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits.
  • Leadership and Mentorship Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to VRO staff and leadership as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and key VRO stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead the establishment of a project management and/or agile Community of Excellence (CoE) to facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing among the VRO and practitioners.
  • Instill a learning culture to continuously inspect and adapt methodology and efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvements Regularly reviews and evaluates opportunities to improve the project management best practices to achieve higher maturity in project portfolio management (PPM).
  • Evolve and continually improve the interdependence between business models and operating practices, integrating waterfall, iterative, and agile delivery models into one, cohesive delivery strategy to best meet the evolving business needs.
  • Engage the organization to ensure continual feedback and identify emerging methodology and alignment needs.
  • Performance Management Assess overall enterprise (and LOB specific) portfolio performance, using metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support the organization’s progression towards a value based operating model.
  • Ensure strategic alignment through prioritization, resource capacity management, key result tracking and program management to achieve strategic vision.
  • Track and communicates key VRO metrics and KPIs.
  • Escalate and track organization impediments, removing them where possible.
  • Consortium Liaison Work alongside our partners in the Consortium to communicate FourLeaf project priorities, schedules, and capacity constraints.
