Founded in 1977 as the Senior Care Action Network, SCAN began with a simple but radical idea: that older adults deserve to stay healthy and independent. Today, SCAN is a nonprofit health organization serving more than 500,000 people across Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington, with over $8 billion in annual revenue. With nearly five decades of experience, SCAN has built a distinctive, values-driven platform dedicated to improving care for older adults, spanning Medicare Advantage, fully integrated care models, primary care, and next-generation care delivery models. SCAN Group is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to tackling the most pressing issues facing older adults in the United States, and is the sole corporate member of SCAN Health Plan, one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit Medicare Advantage plans, serving more than 300,000 members. SCAN employees are talented, passionate professionals committed to supporting older adults and innovating healthcare for seniors everywhere, provided with in-depth training, state-of-the-art tools, and development opportunities. As the Vice President of Value Based Care, you will be responsible for developing and executing SCAN’s strategy to drive financial and quality performance within its network, with a particular focus on managing total cost of care (TCOC). This role involves partnering with senior leadership across the organization to ensure SCAN’s clinical programs, contracting approach, and provider engagement come together to drive performance.
