About The Position

The VP, Treasury Management Banker at Banc of California is responsible for enhancing sales efforts for prospective clients while supporting existing client needs. This role requires a seasoned relationship builder who can serve as a trusted advisor in cash management strategies, cross-selling deposit and non-interest income products, and collaborating with banking teams to align with the bank's goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant banking and/or financial services experience.
• 3+ years of experience in treasury management products and sales.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Strong aptitude for payment and data channels.
• Proven success in managing client accounts.

• Industry expertise in technology, life science, and venture capital funds.
• Certified Treasury Professional certification is preferred.
• Creative and strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with banking teams to develop and execute a strategic plan for the assigned market.
• Monitor and manage existing portfolio and support business development efforts.
• Proactively analyze customer business needs and advise on cash management strategies.
• Demonstrate leadership across the organization and with cross-functional partners.
• Review customer needs and perform cost-benefit and risk analysis for treasury solutions.
• Advise on domestic and global treasury management solutions.
• Review client portfolios to identify gaps and opportunities in cash management.
• Provide thought leadership on product features and global treasury trends.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Uphold organizational values and promote a diverse workforce.
