About The Position

The VP of Strategic Initiatives will lead the strategy, development, and execution of PayPal's priority client initiatives, focusing on identifying, building, and nurturing multiyear, global partnerships that drive revenue acceleration and consolidate our market leading innovation within the AI and agentic commerce evolution. The VP of Strategic Initiatives will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, and the executive leadership team to ensure that priority programs align with company objectives and deliver significant value to the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall strategy, in alignment with the executive team identifying key partnership opportunities and products that align with the company's growth objectives and deliver measurable results.
• Build and manage relationships with a diverse portfolio of strategic partners, including technology partners, integration partners, channel partners, and resellers, to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Identify horizon one to three engagements that drive $100M plus ROI and accelerated growth which contributes to the company's revenue targets.
• Lead and mentor the cross functional team, ensuring effective execution of partnership initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align partnership initiatives with broader company goals.
• Lead negotiations with partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring legal and financial terms align with the company's objectives.
• Track, analyse, and report on partnership performance, using data and KPIs to measure success and make informed decisions about the future direction of partnerships.
• Stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to identify new partnership opportunities and innovate the partnership strategy.
• Collaborate with partners to develop joint value propositions, co-marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
