About The Position
The VP, Sourcing & Procurement Systems and Supplier Management at SECU is a pivotal role responsible for leading a transformational center of excellence that supports best-in-class sourcing, procurement, and supplier management. This position requires a dynamic leader who can empower a focused team within systems and supplier management, while also modifying organizational and governance designs as necessary. The role emphasizes enabling world-class processes, implementing systems and technology, and overseeing policy administration. The VP will lead major initiatives, programs, and projects, ensuring excellent stakeholder engagement and effective supplier relationship management, including service level agreements (SLAs), dashboards, and metrics development. The systems and supplier management team plays a crucial role in providing strategic, operational, and tactical best practices and support services to the Strategic Sourcing Category Management teams. These teams manage spend categories across various enterprise sectors, including Information Technology, SECU Branch Offices, Facilities, and Operations, covering areas such as Risk Management, Legal, Marketing, HR, Finance & Accounting, and more. The team is responsible for delivering customer-centric sourcing and procurement services from a centralized operating model, focusing on governance, supplier and stakeholder programs, procurement platform management, and technology integration. Key practice areas include governance, which encompasses policies, procedures, tools, templates, and performance reporting; supplier and stakeholder relationship management, including lifecycle performance and risk management; procurement platform refinement and implementation; and the development of metrics strategies in collaboration with business partners. The VP will work closely with cross-functional senior management teams to identify opportunities for enhancing supplier and contract management processes, driving continuous improvement throughout the organization.
