We are seeking a VP‐level Senior Software Developer to lead development and implementation of analytics tools and APIs for quants and portfolio managers. You will provide technical leadership while remaining hands‐on: design, build, test, and deploy scalable front‐end UIs, high‐performance backend services, and APIs; translate quant and portfolio‐manager requirements into technical designs; collaborate with engineering, quant teams, and portfolio managers to define scope and priorities; own delivery, production reliability, and incident response; and mentor peers.

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency
• Advanced SQL for complex data analysis
• 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with quantitative workflows or direct experience working with quant teams is required
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field
• Strong Pandas and SQL proficiency is essential
• Clear communication
• Results orientation
• Willingness to take on multiple roles to deliver solutions under time pressure

• Distributed systems or large‐scale data processing
• Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Front‐end JavaScript experience
