About The Position

The VP, Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and policies that drive and meet revenue and profit goals. This role involves contributing to strategic initiatives at the highest level, establishing sales quotas, profit goals, and product mix expectations, and producing sales forecasts for strategic planning. The VP will also develop and execute sales presentations, meet customer needs through strategic sales plans, lead generation, and increased sales, and conduct market and competitor research. Collaboration with marketing and product cross-functional teams to develop promotional materials and building customer relationships are also key aspects. The position requires significant travel. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
  • 12+ years of experience in healthcare related sales.
  • 5 years of recent management experience in a sales-driven environment.
  • Experience implementing sales strategies, systems and processes.
  • Exceptional knowledge of solutions portfolio and specialty markets, sales and marketing methodologies and practices.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Office Suite, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, negotiation, strategic, analytical, judgment, communication and presentation skills.
  • Client-facing executive-level sales acumen.
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver results by executing business and sales strategies aligned with growth objectives and deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Ability to utilize customer profile and information.
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders within the enterprise on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and / or advising.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and policies that drive and meet revenue and profit goals.

  • Establish sales quotas, profit goals, and product mix expectations for the sales function.
  • Produce sales forecasts and related reports for use in strategic planning.
  • Develop and execute sales presentations.
  • Meet the changing needs of the customer through the implementation and execution of the strategic sales plan, lead generation, and increased sales.
  • Research the market and competitors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product cross functional teams to develop effective promotional materials.
  • Build relationships with customers.
  • Travel up to 75%.
  • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
