About The Position
The Vice President of Risk Management is responsible for overseeing all aspects of risk management at Emory Healthcare (EHC). This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to the organization, its patients, employees, and assets. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to reduce risk exposure, ensure regulatory compliance, improve patient safety, and promote a culture of safety across the organization. The VP of Risk Management will work closely with other executives, department leaders, and clinical staff to establish a risk-conscious environment that minimizes potential liability, addresses patient care quality concerns, and protects the organization from legal and financial exposure.
