About The Position

The VP, Transformation Program Manager will be responsible for developing business strategy and driving execution efforts, beginning with strategic plan development and transitioning to operational leadership and client engagement. The location of this role is flexible with occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and scaling a consulting practice, including establishing operational processes and quality standards to deliver best-in-class solutions for managing risk and building resiliency within clients' businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Track record of driving client portfolio expansion by identifying opportunities with new and existing clients and positioning consulting services as a valued offering.
  • Experience leading business planning and development, including market analysis, go-to-market strategies, and performance metrics for measured growth.
  • P&L management experience with the ability to measure financial performance, profitability, and sustainable growth against business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Agility and ability to operate at a fast pace.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in program management, business transformation, or strategy roles

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or a related industry is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with remote and flexible work environments a plus

Responsibilities

  • Program & Strategy Leadership Serve as program manager to develop and execute business strategy, overseeing and directing junior strategy project managers or workstream leaders during strategic plan development.
  • Facilitate strategy development meetings, create strategic plan documents, co-create differentiated offerings, and develop frameworks for strong project delivery and career development.
  • Assess and optimize business workflows and processes to support transformation objectives and inform strategy and operational improvements.
  • Client & Account Management Participate in client development activities, including attending client engagement and brainstorming sessions to grow executive relationships and drive sales.
  • As transformation progresses, serve as client account manager and senior project manager for strategic clients, overseeing financial plan delivery, staffing, and strategic plan implementation.
  • Drive client portfolio expansion by identifying opportunities with new and existing clients, positioning consulting services as a valued offering.
  • Practice Building & Team Development Build and scale a consulting practice by establishing operational processes and quality standards to deliver best-in-class solutions for clients.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Business Operations & Financial Management Lead business planning and development, including market analysis, go-to-market strategies, and performance metrics for measured growth.
  • Contribute to P&L management and accountability for the consulting service line, measuring financial performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.
