About The Position

The VP, Retail Sales & Strategy, Neptune Retail Solutions will be tasked with growing and expanding the relationship with one of our largest retail partners. The role offers an exceptional opportunity to build upon existing relationships and expand our partnership across our strategic retail partner utilizing Neptune’s comprehensive portfolio, including In Store Advertising, Digital Incentives, Digital Media, and At Home solutions. There is opportunity to “go wider and deeper” within the assigned accounts to uncover net-new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering results through the closing of sales in the retail landscape, ideally with or on behalf of CPG’S.
  • Has consistently achieved or exceeded profitable sales goals selling business to business.
  • Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential.
  • Self-starter with high-level of personal accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly within fast-paced environment.
  • Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers.
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Ability to confidently communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of CPG and retail industry.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically build upon current and new relationships to close profitable growth for both Neptune and our Retail Partner.
  • Assumes responsibility for the growth, management, and retention of sales across assigned retail account, and for ensuring performance is aligned with company goals and profitability requirements.
  • Manages relationships and negotiations at all levels of assigned Retail account.
  • Secure meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and how Neptune capabilities can help potential customers to achieve their goals, and to build out robust opportunity pipeline.
  • Drive adoption of Neptune solutions across operating units, by creating client-centric campaigns utilizing the Neptune capabilities and resources to address client needs.
  • Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting to management.
  • Management and coaching of Neptune Retail and Shopper sales teams.
