About The Position

The Vice President Project Management is responsible for managing projects and activities required to develop and maintain the department. As the VP Project Management, you will prepare, coordinate, and manage project activities with management, vendors and end users, while ensuring adherence to project timelines, standards and budgets. The VP Project Management will: Work with internal clients to understand their needs and assess business processes and workflows Coordinate among multiple client areas to deliver solutions on time and on budget Minimize risk and formulate contingency plans; resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner Participate in the analysis, design, training, testing, implementation and support of targeted solutions Maintain and publish status reporting to track progress in achieving plan goals and objectives Administer management routines to review plan progress with company leadership Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required
  • 7+ years in analyst/project management role with financial services, mortgage banking, consulting firm
  • Conversant with technical and critical components of planning and organizational development disciplines
  • Contemporary knowledge of business concepts, life cycles, and processes
