About The Position

Updater is seeking a bold, strategic, and visionary product executive to drive the next evolution of our technology platform. As the most senior product leader in the organization, you will own the full product lifecycle and architect next-gen products, integrating cutting-edge AI and unlocking new growth opportunities across our product suite. This is a unique opportunity to lead product in a company with a complex B2B2C marketplace and: A massive TAM across partner, service, and consumer verticals, Rich data and integration opportunities through our enterprise partnerships, Momentum in AI/Agentic commerce innovation ready to be harnessed, An executive team aligned on product-first growth.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in product management, with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
• Proven success owning product strategy and execution in complex tech ecosystems, especially in platform or marketplace settings.
• Deep experience building and scaling AI-powered products, with a strong understanding of Agentic Commerce and other AI technologies.
• Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, and analytics.
• Track record of experimentation-driven product development, including A/B testing and hypothesis-driven iteration.
• Strong technical acumen; able to engage deeply with engineering and technical leadership to shape technical strategy and execution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present product vision, strategy, and results to a variety of audiences.
• Empathetic, pragmatic, and collaborative leadership style.
• Experience working with a remote-first team distributed in multiple timezones without a physical office.
• Understanding of affiliate marketing and/or multifamily residential property management helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term product strategy in close partnership with the CEO and senior leadership.
• Define and execute a roadmap that transforms Updater into the definitive platform for AI purchasing experiences.
• Lead the evolution of our platform through Agentic AI and other emerging technologies, working closely with Data, Engineering and Go-to-market leaders.
• Deliver measurable value to the business by driving revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, operational efficiency, and market differentiation.
• Translate business goals into a cohesive product strategy with clear success metrics, ensuring alignment across all functions and accountability to key outcomes.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product organization.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, agility, and data-informed decision-making.
• Partner with engineering to build products that delight while managing technical maintenance.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and discovery to delivery, optimization, and measurement.
• Anticipate emerging market trends, evolving customer pain points, and shifting competitive dynamics to shape disruptive, future-ready product strategies.
• Clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and progress across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide transparent, data-driven updates on performance and roadmap execution.
