Cadent is seeking a transformative and visionary Vice President of Product to scale our product organization. Reporting directly to the EVP of Product Management, this executive will assume ownership of the self-service Cadent Platform portfolio, covering Audience, Identity, Activation & Exchange product lines. The VP will be responsible for influencing our multi-year product vision, driving enterprise-level strategic alignment, and cultivating a world-class product management team. This leader will be instrumental in steering our growth strategy through market expansion, innovation, and operational excellence, ensuring our products deliver sustained value to our customers and the business.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of success in leading product teams and driving product strategy in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • 10-15+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Ad Tech Expertise: Deep understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, DSPs, identity and data privacy.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing product teams.
  • Strategy: Experience developing and executing successful product strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of software architecture and AI is required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or related field is required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Expectations (Approximately 35% of Time)
  • Product Vision & Strategy: Shape and evangelize a multi-year product vision for the self-service platform that enables long-term growth, market differentiation, and enterprise alignment. Define the strategic narrative across business units and communicate it effectively to senior leadership, functional teams, and the market. Drive a unified platform strategy that enables strategic growth and extensibility.
  • Expand and develop the self-service platform vision from the existing Cadent product strategy, to deliver a comprehensive 12-18 month aspirational roadmap.
  • Business & Market Acumen: Align the product portfolio strategy with P&L goals, steering growth through pricing, market expansion, and potential M&A activities. Anticipate market evolution and disruption, driving strategic responses to industry shifts and competitive threats.
  • Develop a program to evangelize market and competitive intelligence throughout the product management team, and the broader Product/Tech organization.
  • Investment & Prioritization: Own the process and facilitation of setting enterprise-level strategic investment direction in partnership with C-suite and senior leadership. Govern portfolio trade-offs across all planning horizons—from optimizing mature products to building a sustainable innovation engine—to ensure measurable business impact.
  • Refine and facilitate a collaborative and rigorous approach for portfolio prioritization across all product pillars, in partnership with senior leadership across all functions.
  • Partner with EVP and Product Leadership to own and manage platform partner operating costs, commercial models, and integration approach.
  • Operational Expectations (Approximately 35% of Time)
  • Enterprise Delivery & Quality: Own enterprise-level delivery performance, setting the organizational standard for excellence in time-to-market and product quality. Partner with PMO/AMO, Software Engineering, Quality Engineering and IT leadership to ensure the organizational structure and culture support scalable, adaptable processes tied to business impact.
  • Oversee PI Planning preparation and execution, and provide oversight on initiative requirements, scope and implementation approach.
  • Builds a disciplined team that translates strategy into well-defined stories and reliably delivers high-quality products on time
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Excellence: Lead organizational readiness for GTM, in partnership with Customer Experience, Product Marketing and Sales Enablement, across all lines of business.
  • Ensure a sustainable launch infrastructure is in place to drive long-term value realization and market adoption. Evaluate current processes to identify gaps and implement best practices.
  • Data & Insights: Own the approach and execution of data driven product best practices, ensuring metrics discipline and macro-level user behavior insights guide decision making. Embed an experimentation mindset into strategic planning frameworks.
  • Expand on existing product analytics utilization to improve product requirements, enhance prioritization justification and facilitate test and learn approaches throughout the team.
  • People-Focused Expectations (Approximately 30% of Time)
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Establish and reinforce a world-class leadership culture. Invest deeply in developing the next generation of product leaders through mentorship and creating opportunities for growth.
  • Manage, direct and grow the team within direct reporting lines. Provide feedback and consult with the broader product organization.
  • Executive Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Build credibility and foster strategic alignment with C-suite, senior leadership and key industry partners. Represent company priorities and shape market perception through compelling internal and external storytelling.
