About The Position

As Noom continues to grow, we’re seeking a Vice President, Product Design and User Experience to lead our world-class design organization. In this role, you will set the strategic vision for design at Noom, foster a culture of creativity and excellence, and ensure our experiences meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and impact. We’re looking for a leader who not only sets direction but brings a strong point of view on design and thrives in being hands-on, modeling design excellence through their own craft.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in product design, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success leading design organizations in high-growth, product-led companies.
• Experience with gamification and consumer-facing apps (strong plus).
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates deep design expertise and a track record of delivering exceptional, user-centered experiences across platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience scaling design teams, systems, and processes in complex, fast-paced environments.
• A thoughtful, forward-looking point of view on generative AI, with the ability to anticipate its impact and guide Noom’s design strategy through this evolving wave.
• Passion for health, wellness, and behavior change (strong plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the Product Design function, driving excellence in craft, user experience, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Define and evangelize a holistic design and experience strategy aligned with Noom’s mission and business objectives across both consumer and enterprise products.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of designers and design leaders, cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous growth.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and other teams to deliver seamless, engaging, and effective user experiences.
• Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop a clear perspective and roadmap for how Noom harnesses generative AI to unlock new opportunities, elevate design processes, and deliver differentiated user experiences.
