Your Opportunity, Your Team The Vice President, Platform Distribution is a critical leadership role supporting QVC US, HSN, and our Growth businesses. Reporting to the SVP, Chief Distribution Officer, you will own the strategy and execution that drives programming distribution across traditional, digital, and OTA platforms. You'll identify and pursue new distribution and business development opportunities, strengthen relationships with key affiliates and platform partners, and negotiate favorable carriage deals with major cable, satellite, vMVPD, and OTA distributors. This is a highly strategic role that connects distribution strategy to our broader business growth agenda, ensuring QVC Group is positioned on every platform that matters – today and in the future. Where You'll Work This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our US Headquarters in West Chester, PA, several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ or DE. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of TV distribution experience including deep understanding of traditional and emerging TV platforms, accompanying technologies and capabilities, business modeling, and leading negotiations with strategic partners
  • Well-versed in the streaming landscape with hands-on experience establishing and developing streaming and/or digital platforms, preferably in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environments
  • Proven deal-making ability with strong negotiating skills and a track record of securing complex, high-value distribution agreements across multiple platform types
  • Business development mindset with the ability to spot emerging opportunities, build compelling business cases, and move from strategy to execution
  • Broad business knowledge spanning retail, media, and platforms with the financial and analytical acumen to model deals, assess risks, and inform strategic decisions
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influence skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships and unite key stakeholders across a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent, build high-performing teams, and maintain a culture of excellence
  • Experience within television, media & entertainment.

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the overall strategic vision for platform distribution across all relevant big screen TV platforms, staying ahead of industry trends to identify new distribution channels and inform business development priorities
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new distribution and business development opportunities across traditional, digital, streaming, and emerging platforms to expand QVC Group's reach and revenue
  • Lead affiliate distribution strategy, managing pay TV and select OTT distributor relationships while building the partnerships that keep QVC US, HSN, and our Growth businesses relevant across major distributor platforms
  • Negotiate all major carriage renewals and new distribution agreements, bringing broad deal-making expertise to secure favorable terms across multiple platform types
  • Develop and present business models for new and evolving deal structures, using market intelligence and competitive analysis to build compelling cases for distribution investments
  • Lead and develop a high-performing distribution team, providing ongoing coaching and feedback while continuously stretching and developing talent to deliver best-in-class work
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, programming, streaming, and commercial leadership to ensure distribution strategy is tightly connected to broader business goals and growth initiatives
