What can you expect in a “VP, People Operations” role with TaskUs: The Vice President of People Operations in TaskUs provides essential functional support by overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. They develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce. By fostering a positive work culture, promoting diversity and inclusion, and managing performance evaluations, they contribute to employee satisfaction and retention. At TaskUs, The VP, People Operations manages labor laws and regulations to uphold compliance and reduce risks, thereby promoting the company's prosperity and expansion.

Requirements

  • Extensive leadership experience in HR management, preferably within the BPO or outsourcing industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex HR challenges and drive organizational change

  • Experience in managing global HR operations and teams across multiple locations
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making to inform strategic initiatives
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the BPO industry's competitive landscape and challenges
  • Track record of fostering a positive organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with C-level executives and other stakeholders to drive HR agenda aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and consult with country HR partners to deliver regional activities
  • Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes
  • Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle
  • Partner with business managers to resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed
  • Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs to fill the identified gaps
