On behalf of our partner network, we're recruiting a VP of Operations in New York. The selected candidate for the VP Operations role will lead operational strategy and execution at the highest level, driving enterprise-wide transformation and building the infrastructure to support ambitious growth. You will report directly to the C-suite and own the operational foundation of the business.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in consulting (MBB preferred)
- A proven track record of leading operations at scale, including building new functions from scratch, transforming underperforming operations, or driving enterprise-wide change
- Strategic vision combined with operational excellence—you set ambitious goals and ensure flawless execution
- Deep expertise across multiple operational domains (process design, supply chain, technology operations, organizational design, performance management)
- Executive presence and influence, i.e., you operate effectively at the C-suite and board level, drive alignment across the organization, and represent the company externally
- Track record of delivering transformational results with measurable improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, revenue growth, or customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the operational strategy, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing operations teams, attracting top talent, fostering a culture of excellence, and developing future leaders
- Build and scale operating models, governance structures, and systems that enable the company to grow efficiently
- Partner with the executive team to drive high-impact strategic initiatives
- Establish enterprise-wide metrics, dashboards, and reporting that provide real-time visibility into business performance and operational health
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and representing operations in board-level discussions
