About The Position

NRP Jones is a trusted manufacturer and master distributor of fluid conveyance solutions — including hydraulic hose, fittings, adapters, and assemblies. With a broad product portfolio, multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities, and a strong distributor network, our reputation is built on quality, service, and having the right product available when our customers need it most. Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain will lead end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing operations — encompassing procurement, inventory management, production planning, multi-site plant oversight, warehousing, and logistics. This executive will be instrumental in ensuring that NRP Jones delivers best-in-class fill rates, efficient working capital use, optimized production performance, and scalable growth across both manufacturing and distribution operations.

Requirements

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines across a complex, multi-site operating environment.
Ability to build relationships with other corporate departments, plant operations teams, supply chain partners, and customers.
Able to foresee potential problems and implement preventive measures across both supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement, including familiarity with lean manufacturing and operational excellence methodologies.
Proven track record of leading large, complex inventories across multi-location distribution and manufacturing networks.
Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, S&OP, and working capital optimization.
Demonstrated ability to manage manufacturing operational KPIs including OEE, throughput, yield, and cost per unit.
Financial acumen with demonstrated success managing carrying costs, margin impact, production cost structures, and inventory investment.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills with ability to align supply chain and manufacturing strategy with commercial objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
12+ years of progressive supply chain and/or operations leadership in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or fluid conveyance.
Experience leading multi-site manufacturing or plant operations in addition to supply chain functions strongly preferred.
ERP/WMS/TMS experience; APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or APICS CPIM-P certifications preferred.
