About The Position

About the Role We are partnering with a fast-growing technology company that has established product-market fit and is focused on scaling its engineering organization to support continued growth. The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for leading engineering execution, team development, and delivery across the organization. This leader will work closely with the CTO, Product, and executive leadership to ensure the engineering organization is aligned with business goals and operating efficiently at scale. This role is well-suited for a senior engineering leader who has built and led high-performing teams and understands how to balance technical excellence with execution and delivery.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a VP Engineering, Director of Engineering, or equivalent senior leader
• Strong background in software development and modern engineering practices
• Proven ability to lead engineering managers and senior ICs
• Experience scaling teams in growth-stage or complex environments
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Track record of delivering reliable, high-quality products

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale engineering teams across multiple product and platform areas
• Partner with Product leadership to plan and deliver against the roadmap
• Establish strong engineering processes, standards, and accountability
• Hire, develop, and retain senior engineering leaders and managers
• Ensure engineering delivery, quality, and reliability at scale
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership on priorities and execution
• Drive continuous improvement in tools, systems, and workflows
