About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Sales to join our executive team. Reporting directly to the CRO, you will lead Gorgias’s global sales organization, drive revenue growth, and develop strategic sales initiatives to achieve our ambitious goals. As VP of Sales, you will play a key role in scaling our revenue from $70M to $200M ARR, expanding our customer base, and driving adoption of our AI-powered platform across the ecommerce industry.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success as a senior sales leader in a high-growth SaaS or ecommerce technology company, with experience scaling beyond $100M ARR.
  • Managed Directors and large sales teams of 30+ people.
  • Responsible for achieving $30M+ in new revenue sales.
  • Owned both a new sales and expansion number.
  • Strong understanding of the ecommerce landscape, particularly Shopify and its ecosystem.
  • Background in ecommerce considered an asset.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a passion for developing talent.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and support Gorgias’s growth objectives.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive new business acquisition while expanding the existing customer base.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure alignment and maximize revenue opportunities as we move upmarket.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the executive team.
  • Represent Gorgias at industry events, conferences, and key customer meetings.
