VP of Sales, Americas (U.S. & Canada)

Kevel
$200,000 - $250,000Remote

About The Position

Kevel is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of Sales, Americas to lead and scale our revenue organization across the United States and Canada. Reporting directly to the COO, this leader will own regional revenue strategy and performance, expand Kevel’s footprint across retailers and commerce partners, and build a world-class enterprise sales organization within the rapidly growing retail media ecosystem. This role requires a true player-coach: a hands-on enterprise seller who can close complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure deals while also building the team, systems, and operating rigor required to scale. The VP of Sales will be a key member of the leadership team, shaping go-to-market strategy, influencing product direction based on market feedback, and positioning Kevel as the leading API-first retail media infrastructure partner.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive enterprise sales experience, including senior sales leadership in high-growth SaaS or infrastructure businesses.
  • Deep expertise in retail media, digital advertising technology, commerce enablement, or API-driven platforms.
  • Proven success selling complex, technical solutions (e.g., APIs, ad serving platforms, monetization infrastructure) to enterprise retailers, marketplaces, or commerce organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale enterprise sales teams, establish forecasting rigor, and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise procurement, contract negotiations, MSAs, and strategic commercial agreements.
  • Track record of leading multi-million-dollar, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with executive buyers.
  • Operational fluency in CRM systems, pipeline management, sales enablement tools, and data-driven forecasting.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both executive and tactical levels.
  • Executive presence and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and build long-term strategic partnerships.
  • A customer-centric, high-integrity leadership style that builds trust, accountability, and sustained growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver U.S. and Canada revenue targets, driving net-new enterprise customer acquisition and strategic account expansion.
  • Expand Kevel’s presence across retailers, marketplaces, and commerce partners building retail media networks.
  • Develop and execute a focused go-to-market strategy aligned to target segments, ICPs, and strategic verticals.
  • Act as executive sponsor on key accounts, strengthening long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as a player-coach, personally leading and closing high-value, complex deals while building a scalable sales motion.
  • Lead the full enterprise sales lifecycle — from executive-level prospecting through deal structuring, negotiation, and close.
  • Navigate multi-threaded sales cycles involving C-level stakeholders, product teams, procurement, legal, and technical buyers.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility, establishing operational rigor and revenue predictability.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives and Strategic Account Managers.
  • Establish clear KPIs, accountability structures, and coaching frameworks that elevate performance.
  • Build scalable processes across prospecting, qualification, deal strategy, pricing, and expansion.
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and equitable culture aligned with Kevel’s values.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Solutions Architecture, and Customer Success to refine positioning, pricing, and packaging.
  • Translate market and customer insights into actionable feedback for product and executive leadership.
  • Represent the voice of the customer at the leadership level and contribute to company-wide strategy.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics and retail media trends to inform positioning and differentiation.
