The VP of Product Development, reporting to the President of the Household Division, will drive innovation and growth across KIK Consumer Products' North American Household portfolio. This role leads new product development, product renovations, and cost/performance optimization to strengthen both private label and branded businesses. It's an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our portfolio and expand our market impact.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to accelerate growth in laundry, dish care, cleaners, and bleach products
  • Define product strategy and technology roadmaps to deliver data-driven, innovative solutions for branded and private label customers
  • Lead the Household Product Development team to shape future business architecture and product capabilities
  • Build and develop a best-in-class product development organization that drives portfolio growth and business results
  • Champion KIK's product vision across the company, acting as a key ambassador with internal teams and customers
  • Partner with Product Management, Quality, Packaging, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment and continuous feedback
  • Foster a culture of innovation, challenging the status quo while honoring and advancing KIK's culture
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on go-to-market strategies and execution
  • Identify new opportunities, drive experimentation, and stay ahead of industry trends
  • 10 or more years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods product development, ideally in household cleaning
  • Bachelor's degree required - Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering preferred; Master's degree a plus
  • Proven success building supplier partnerships to accelerate product development
  • Knowledge of household, surfactant, enzyme, fragrance, and specialty ingredients industries strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with lab practices, testing methods, and third-party testing labs
  • Understanding of laundry detergents, fabric softeners, dish detergents, cleaners, and bleach a plus
  • Experience leveraging consumer insights and market research to guide innovation
  • Strong customer focus and ability to collaborate with external partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
  • Technical expertise with a business mindset to connect projects to outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
