About The Position

DoubleVerify is seeking a VP of Product Analytics to lead the AI Product Analytics team within the Classification group. This role involves comprehensive management and strategic oversight of the analytics function, aligning with the mission to secure the digital advertising ecosystem against inappropriate content monetization and ensuring brand safety across platforms. The VP will manage a large team of analysts, oversee the development of ML/AI technologies for classification systems, and influence the ad-tech industry towards a transparent and sustainable online advertising environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in analytics, with a proven track record in product and engineering support roles.
  • At least 5 years experience in a leadership role managing and developing high-performing product analytics or data science teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing product initiatives powered by data science methodologies, such as computer vision (CV) or natural language processing (NLP).
  • Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, information science, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
  • Mastery of SQL & Python, with hands-on experience in Looker, BigQuery, and SQL warehouses.
  • Exceptional ability to cultivate strong, positive relationships across diverse cultural environments and global teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand a highly skilled team of product and data analysts, fostering professional growth and technical proficiency.
  • Strategize with senior leadership across Product, Engineering, and Data Science to define and prioritize analytics projects, ensuring alignment with our product roadmap and business goals.
  • Enhance cross-functional collaboration, establishing a cohesive analytics framework across the organization to standardize measurement and impact assessment.
  • Drive innovation within the analytics function, identifying and implementing process enhancements to bolster our analytics capabilities and product offerings.
  • Champion data governance and quality, spearheading initiatives to address data integrity and usability across our platforms and products.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform decision-making on key product initiatives, leveraging comprehensive data analysis.
