Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering or Business).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (preferable with electric motor manufacturing).
• Global business acumen with a proven record in execution of defined strategic initiatives.
• Strong Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, WorkDay, IoT experience - preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or PMP Certifications - preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (both domestic & international).
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Regional business leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects within the North American region.
• Driving strategic alignment, fostering customer-centric operations, and achieving operational excellence and performance to create business growth opportunities.
• Ensuring seamless coordination across all supporting functions.
• Executing a customer-focused operations strategy and delivering financial and non-financial targets for manufacturing operations (e.g., safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity).
• Ensuring a sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service).
• Developing and continuously improving business processes and procedures to enhance overall customer satisfaction for the area under the scope.
• Conducting operational risk management to validate and improve reliability and effectiveness of business operations.
• Responsible for on-time/on-margin project execution and delivering project EBIT for operations while delivering COGS savings and all other financial performance KPIs.
• Defines and delivers the rolling forecasts for CapEx and OpEx expenses.
