Accelevents is the event management platform built for teams that are done duct-taping five tools together. We serve large enterprises consolidating their event tech stack, and we're looking for a VP of Marketing who moves fast, thinks clearly, and has strong opinions about what good looks like. What this role actually is You own marketing. Content, brand, product marketing, demand gen. In that order of priority. We're not looking for someone to "build a framework" for six months. We need someone who ships work, sees what hits, and doubles down. The velocity of your output matters as much as the quality, and we expect both to be high. Content is the centerpiece. You'll set the editorial direction, own the brand voice, and have a knack for creative. You have a point of view and you know how to make noise. If you can't write, this isn't the role. To be clear, we’re talking social, website, ads. Not blog posts. Beyond content, you'll drive brand strategy, product positioning, and demand generation programs that connect to pipeline. You should be comfortable going deep on performance data without losing the thread on creative or big-picture strategy. You're intense. Not performatively busy, but genuinely relentless about the work. You move quickly, make decisions with incomplete information, and course-correct without drama. You're smart and curious. You question assumptions, including your own. You dig into why something worked, not just that it worked. At this point, you’re AI pilled. You spend your free time building and seeing what’s available. You have taste. You can look at a landing page, an email, a campaign concept and immediately tell whether it's sharp or forgettable. You don't need a committee to know the difference. You want to do work. We’re not looking for a “professional manager”. You don't take yourself too seriously. The work is serious. You don't have to be. This is a high-ownership role reporting to the CRO. If you want to move fast and build something real, reach out.
