About The Position

Copa Health is seeking a VP of Integrated Health Services to provide executive leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for all outpatient behavioral health, primary care, and integrated health services. This role holds full accountability for operational performance, financial stewardship, managed care contract performance, clinical quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and service line growth. As a member of the executive leadership team, you will partner closely with the CEO, COO, and CMO to ensure the highest quality of clinical and medical care and support in a recovery-focused setting. The VP ensures outpatient services achieve sustainable growth, strong margins, regulatory excellence, and measurable improvements in access, quality, and integrated outcomes. procurement solutions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, integrated care, or community mental health required. Experience leading mult-disciplinary clinical teams.
  • Experience working within Medicaid managed care environments.
  • Knowledge of and ability to meet regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.
  • Must be able to possess a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for outpatient and integrated health services.
  • Align operations with enterprise goals and growth initiatives.
  • Lead service line expansion and market development efforts.
  • Represent Copa Health with managed care organizations, community partners, and regulators.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for outpatient and integrated service lines.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets and revenue targets.
  • Monitor productivity, cost per visit, reimbursement performance, and margin outcomes.
  • Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality care delivery.
  • Oversee performance under Medicaid managed care contracts (including AHCCCS/RBHA).
  • Drive compliance with payer requirements, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
  • Support contract negotiations and value-based reimbursement initiatives.
  • Oversee outpatient behavioral health and integrated primary care operations.
  • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to strengthen medical-behavioral integration.
  • Ensure coordination of care models improve health outcomes and access to services.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF).
  • Establish and monitor measurable performance indicators, including:
  • Access to care and appointment timeliness
  • No-show rate reduction
  • Clinician productivity benchmarks
  • Financial performance and revenue cycle outcomes
  • Regulatory compliance and audit readiness
  • Staff engagement and provider retention
  • Lead and develop senior directors and program leadership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Build strong leadership pipelines and succession plans within outpatient operations.
  • To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
