About The Position

The HR Leader will serve as a strategic partner to the business, providing leadership in all aspects of Human Resources across the construction organization. This role will ensure the company attracts, develops, and retains a skilled workforce while promoting a safe, compliant, and engaging workplace culture. The HR Leader will partner closely with executives, project managers, site supervisors, and employees to deliver HR programs that support both operational excellence and long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s/HR certification preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (homes services industry strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws (including prevailing wage, OSHA, and EEO compliance).
  • Proven ability to partner with operational leaders in dynamic, project-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on and adaptable, able to navigate between field sites and corporate offices.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning HR strategy with business goals in sales, operations, production, field services, and corporate functions.
  • Partner with project leaders to forecast workforce needs, build succession planning, and address skills gaps.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention across field and office environments.
  • Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new hires are trained for safety, compliance, and productivity from day one.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations with fairness and consistency.
  • Support supervisors and managers with coaching, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure competitive pay practices, while maintaining equity and compliance.
  • Manage benefits administration and employee wellness programs tailored for field workers and remote teams.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, prevailing wage requirements, and industry-specific regulations.

Benefits

  • $130,000 - $150,000 a year
