About The Position

The VP of Global Marketing and Communications will oversee all internal and external marketing for FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) globally. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance marketing strategy development and execution, particularly within the biotech/biopharma industry. The VP will be responsible for driving the global marketing strategy, engaging with the commercial team, and establishing a coherent business value stream strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of marketing experience in technology or life sciences organizations.
• Strong B-2-B marketing experience in the US market; global experience is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of marketing leadership experience.
• Experience in designing innovative marketing and communication strategies, leveraging digital approaches.
• Ability to think strategically and analyze consumer and market insights.
• Management experience in strategic and tactical planning, performance management, and project management.
• Successful track record of leading and building strong teams and gaining internal alignment.
• Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the biotech/biopharma industry, specifically for a Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).
• Experience with digital marketing strategies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all internal and external marketing for FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies globally.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance marketing strategy development and execution.
• Drive the global marketing strategy and execution, including long-term strategic goals.
• Elevate engagement with the commercial team and customers through digital and multichannel marketing.
• Lead a team of 10-12 people globally, fostering creativity and accountability.
• Establish and lead a central Business Value Stream function.
• Attend conferences and act as a thought leader, maintaining visibility with clients.
