About The Position
Mattamy Homes is the largest privately owned homebuilder in North America, with 40-plus years of history across the United States and Canada. In the U.S., Mattamy is represented in 11 markets - Charlotte, Dallas, Jacksonville, Naples, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh, Sarasota, Southeast Florida, Tampa, and Tucson. The VP of Finance is accountable for the overall accounting function in the Division, including reporting, internal controls and policy implementation. This role is responsible for ensuring that monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and forecasting is timely, accurate, and in compliance with GAAP, including assistance with queries from Corporate and dealing efficiently with audit requests. The VP will analyze budgets and forecasts for all Division entities, providing professional and timely management reports on variances, trends, and control standards and practices. Additionally, the role includes providing leadership and support to the team, acting as an internal consultant, and managing the Finance and Accounting Department effectively.
