There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
Building upon our long history and commitment to provide consistent access to healthy food and nutrition education, the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) will establish a new department focused on food as health, food equity, community health and nutrition. This new group will be charged with improving the health of the communities we serve by providing healthy food, programs, nutrition education, and general support services to agency partners and distribution sites across eastern Mass. This is the opportunity to combine our historical programs, knowledge, skill and commitment to improve the health equity of the 190 communities served by GBFB. The Vice President of Food Equity and Community Health works at the direction of the Chief Operating Officer and will serve as an integral partner to advance the vision, mission, and values of The Greater Boston Food Bank. Over 80% of the food found in agencies, pantries and mobile markets in Eastern Massachusetts comes from GBFB, which puts us in a singular position to influence the health, productivity and quality of life of those we serve. A successful candidate in this role will have a passion for advancing food security in the Commonwealth and improving the wellness of the communities we serve by providing consistent access to healthy food and nutrition programs.
