The Purpose of the Position is to provide strategic leadership and direction to the college in all aspects of the establishment of Institutional initiatives related to student recruitment and enrollment management. This role directs the management of the various component activities of the Enrollment Management function, ensuring that all programs and Initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the institution and its individual campuses. The VP of Admissions directly participates in institutional planning and decision making as a member of the Corporate Leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor 's Degree; Completed degree(s) from an institution that is above the minimum education requirement may be substitute 'or experience on a year for year basis.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Admissions/Enrollment management
  • At least 2 years of Regional (of- multi-campus) Admissions management
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other computer-based tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, anticipate needs, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to remain calm, focused, and adaptable, bringing a positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and implements a strategic, comprehensive enrollment plan for the college and its various related components, to include Admissions, Student Services and Student Financial Aid.
  • Direct and oversees the development of recruiting strategies and enrollment programs to enhance student-institution fit and successful student transition lo the college.
  • Directs and oversees the establishment, development, and enhancement of divisional operations and services to internal and external constituencies.
  • Represents and promotes divisional programs, services, and initiatives to Internal and external constituencies and the general public, as appropriate.
  • Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the organization.
  • Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; oversees recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of unit staff; as well as company/institutional best practices.
  • Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
  • Develops and manages annual budgets for the Admissions department and/or organization and performs periodic cost and productivity analysis.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
