About The Position

Red Seat Ventures seeking a strategic and revenue-driven VP, Network Sales to lead and scale our Network revenue organization, with a primary focus on audio advertising and the strategic expansion into video as market opportunities evolve. This executive will oversee a unified team of Network Direct Account Executives and DSP/Programmatic Partnerships, building an integrated go-to-market strategy across direct and programmatic channels. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, deepening agency and advertiser relationships, optimizing yield, and positioning our network as a market leader in performance-driven audio (and emerging video) campaigns. The ideal candidate combines deep programmatic expertise with strong direct sales leadership, understands the evolving audio ecosystem, and can build a high-performing team aligned to aggressive revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of digital advertising sales experience, with deep expertise in programmatic.
  • Proven leadership experience managing senior sales and/or partnerships teams.
  • Strong understanding of: Programmatic audio DSP ecosystems PMP and PG deals Agency holding company structures
  • Experience selling network inventory across direct and programmatic channels.
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to interface with senior agency and advertiser stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort around yield optimization and pricing strategy.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with video and/or CTV monetization strategies is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall Network revenue strategy across audio and emerging video offerings.
  • Align Network sales strategy with broader company revenue goals and SVP, Sales priorities.
  • Build a scalable go-to-market framework across: Network Direct Sales PMP/Programmatic Guaranteed Open Marketplace Optimization DSP partnerships and integrations
  • Identify expansion opportunities across formats, including video and cross-platform solutions.
  • Own and deliver against Network revenue targets.
  • Drive agency and advertiser demand for audio and programmatic offerings.
  • Establish strong relationships with major DSPs, agency holding companies, and independent agencies.
  • Partner with Marketing and Ad Ops to improve positioning, packaging, and yield strategy.
  • Monitor market trends in audio, CTV, and programmatic to proactively adjust strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Network Direct Account Executives
  • Create clear roles, compensation alignment, and accountability structures.
  • Build a performance culture focused on revenue growth, client retention, and innovation.
  • Identify talent gaps and recruit top sales and partnerships leaders as needed.
  • Partner with: Product to shape network packaging and new offerings Ad Operations to improve execution and delivery efficiency Finance on pricing, yield management, forecasting & reporting
  • Ensure alignment between direct and programmatic strategies to avoid channel conflict and maximize total revenue.
  • Establish clear KPIs across direct and programmatic revenue streams.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility.
  • Implement scalable sales processes.
  • Drive performance tracking across: PMP growth DSP revenue contribution Direct IO revenue Yield and fill rates
