About The Position

The Televisa Univision Network Audio Division is seeking a talented Sales VP to join its Network Audio team. This is a great career opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our sales team. We are looking for someone with a proven record of revenue generation and a deep interest and passion for Terrestrial Audio, Digital Audio, Podcasting and Experiential. We want someone who loves our product and knows how to sell creative solutions for clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (or High School Diploma / GED and 9 years of comparable experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years media sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth and a demonstrated track record in closing new business
  • Strong negotiation skills: have the ability to consultatively sell, present effectively and close the deal
  • Ability to build, manage and close a pipeline of prospects, and proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications presenting in front of a client
  • Must be willing to work in our NYC Location
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to project deadlines and to attend after-hours client events
  • Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events

  • Fluency in Spanish (read and write) is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Sell audio assets and content in order to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and clients directly
  • Cultivate relationships and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue
  • Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service.
  • Work across multiple agency departments, i.e: TV, Audio, Digital, Business Development and Asi Studios to deliver successful campaigns
  • Focus on consultative brand selling, educating and inspiring our clients to use Uforia Podcasts to enhance their business
  • Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals
  • Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings/trainings as required
  • Represent Televisa Univision at events and serve as a brand ambassador, communicating our core narratives and reinforcing the strong position Televisa Univision and Uforia holds in the marketplace
  • Accurate forecasting, reporting daily and weekly and timely insights about your business and customers is vital.
  • Work closely with support staff and other departments to ensure smooth execution of all campaigns
  • Travel Required
