About The Position

We are seeking a senior Medical Affairs leader to define and scale the medical foundation of our AI-powered healthcare platform. This role serves as the executive authority on medical strategy, MLR governance, and non-promotional engagement, while helping shape how AI responsibly transforms Medical Affairs across pharma and medtech. This is not a traditional Medical Affairs role. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who has run MLR committees, deeply understands what is permissible from a medical and compliance perspective, and uses that expertise to enable innovation rather than slow it down.

Requirements

  • MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific/medical degree.
  • Typically 10–18+ years in Medical Affairs across pharma and/or medical devices.
  • Direct experience running or chairing MLR committees, with a strong practical sense of how decisions are made.
  • Deep understanding of non-promotional medical standards and governance expectations in regulated environments.
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior medical, legal, compliance, and commercial leaders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building new operating models.

Responsibilities

  • Own and define the medical affairs and MLR governance model across products and partnerships.
  • Act as the senior internal authority on what is acceptable from a medical, non-promotional, and MLR perspective.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research to translate medical workflows into safe, scalable AI-enabled solutions.
  • Shape medical-facing capabilities such as medical information, scientific exchange, MSL support, and future HCP-facing innovations.
  • Join external customer and partner calls to reinforce that proposed solutions are medically appropriate and MLR-aligned.
  • Establish clear guardrails that allow teams to move quickly while maintaining credibility with pharma and medtech stakeholders.
