About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive cross-channel media strategy that supports the organization's objectives. This role leads media planning, buying, and reconciliation processes. Oversee budgets and resources for media activities to maximize return on ad spend and ensure alignment with marketing goals. Leads digital media operations, sets the vision for digital strategies and stays updated on emerging technologies and trends. This position is responsible for managing vendor relationships and third-party agencies to ensure seamless coordination and execution. Additionally, the role is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven frameworks to measure media performance. Improves sales and marketing capabilities across digital platforms. Demonstrates the ability to position the Credit Union to leverage new technologies while quickly responding to industry changes. Identifies and mitigates risk associated with marketing activities. Work closely with creative, analytics, digital services and technology teams to ensure integrated messaging, cohesive campaign execution and tracking capabilities are in place. Recruit, manage and mentor a team of media specialists and professionals to execute strategies effectively. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying.
  • Extensive experience in both digital (Social, Search, Programmatic) and traditional media strategy and execution.
  • Deep understanding of current digital channels such as social media, display advertising, video marketing, search engine marketing, and emerging AI-powered solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership experience in managing media teams and budgets.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities to handle competing deadlines and priorities.
